Homemate Co. Ltd, a leading DIY and home improvement retailer in Malta, is seeking to recruit a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Person to join our team on a full-time basis.
The selected candidate will support our outlets located in Tigné Point (Sliema), Shoreline Mall (SmartCity), Mosta, Mrieħel, and Zejtun, ensuring that our stores and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance duties within store premises and surrounding areas.
- Ensuring that facilities, fixtures, and equipment are kept in good working condition at all times.
- Assembling furniture, displays, and other shop floor items as required.
- Visiting clients’ homes when necessary to assemble furniture or assess and carry out minor repairs.
- Identifying maintenance issues proactively and reporting where necessary.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Maltese and English.
- Good technical and practical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A valid driving licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
