Maintenance Technician (White Plains, NY)

Up to $35/hour | Company Vehicle | 4 Day Work Week | No Nights, Weekends, On Call

Hassle Free Home is a home services membership. We provide our members technician-led maintenance visits and an account manager for home projects outside the scope of our technician team. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll visit our members' homes', complete preventative maintenance and handyman tasks and work within a local market team. With our Technicians’ diligence and attention to detail, homeowners can rest assured that their home is well cared for and consistently maintained to the highest standard.

If you're handy, a clear communicator, and naturally organized, this is a role where you can stand out quickly.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Ensure timely and quality completion of scheduled maintenance and repairs for our members’ homes
• Interact with members, subcontractors and our support team to provide updates and instructions regarding maintenance needs
• Provide clearly documented reports after each visit to summarize the work completed and any necessary follow-up
• Grow and develop your skills with professional development and opportunities to advance within our company into leadership roles

What Matters Most

• Handyman or maintenance professional
• Background in residential home building and/or maintenance
• Knowledgeable about basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting
• Problem solver who can work independently to troubleshoot household issues
• A good communicator who can clearly relay both verbal and written information
• Comfortable with technology and mobile apps

Benefits and Compensation

• Up to $35/hour (commensurate with experience)
• No on-call work -- stable schedule of 40 hrs/week
