Manager - Development

The Manager, Development is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and delivery of assigned assets, districts, or projects throughout the development lifecycle. The role ensures alignment between business objectives, design, commercial requirements, implementation planning, and stakeholder expectations while supporting the achievement of project milestones, budget targets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day development activities for assigned projects from concept through delivery.
• Coordinate with design, project delivery, commercial, finance, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project progression.
• Support the preparation and review of feasibility studies, business cases, development briefs, and investment appraisals.
• Manage project schedules, development budgets, and key development milestones.
• Monitor project risks and develop mitigation plans to address schedule, cost, and delivery challenges.
• Review design submissions and ensure alignment with approved development objectives.
• Coordinate internal approvals and stage gate submissions.
• Manage external consultants and service providers to ensure timely delivery of project requirements.
• Support procurement activities and consultant appointments related to development projects.
• Prepare executive reports, presentations, and development updates for senior management.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, consultants, operators, and investors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements, and development procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in real estate development, project development, infrastructure development, or large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and stakeholders.
• Experience working on major development, giga-project, or master-planned communities is preferred.
