Our Specialty Risk Team offers candidates the opportunity to support the evolution of value-based care across the Radiology, Cardiology and Oncology spaces. Who You’ll Be Working With:
The Manager, Financial Analytics utilizes analytic tools to solve complex business challenges as well as support decision making that can have a considerable impact on the organization and patient health. This role primarily supports calculation of deliverables for the monthly financial close.
The Manager, Financial Analytics will inform decision making across the company by conducting analyses and developing actionable insights. The Manager, Financial Analytics will have the opportunity to shape team culture and operating norms at a high-growth organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support calculation of IBNR balances for monthly close
- Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and underlying data to support reporting, including membership, claims, forecast assumptions, and IBNR balances
- Help internal business customers achieve goals by performing statistical analysis, developing analytic models, creating data reports/dashboards using a variety of performance metrics
- Support ad hoc analyses to provide data-driven insights to answer specific business questions that arise from company leadership and partners
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency of key deliverables
- Be reliable; set clear expectations, communicate proactively, and escalate risks as needed
- Consistently deliver high-quality, error-free deliverables

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Math, Economics or related degree
- 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis with strong analytical skills using Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
- Familiarity or experience with medical/pharmacy claims
- Familiarity with PowerQuery/BI/VBA
- Ability to read and write SQL code

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
