• Full-time, 2 Year Fixed Term role, located on the Darlington Campus, at The University of Sydney Business School
• Work with key student stakeholders and support the strategic and operational direction of education operations within the School
• Base Salary HEO 9, $152,045 p.a. - $160,430 p.a. + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The University of Sydney Business School is seeking an experienced Manager, Online Student Experience to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the support model for online post-experience postgraduate students, from initial central referral through to graduation. They establish the operating model, procedures and digital infrastructure that support an effective online student experience and lead a team of specialists in the development and delivery of the end-to-end online student journey. They provide strategic advice to Faculty executive and committees on the performance and long-term placement of the service.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• lead end-to-end support frameworks for online postgraduate students, from enrolment through to graduation
• oversee onboarding, student support, and retention initiatives for online postgraduate programs
• partner with academic leaders to align student experience strategies with curriculum and faculty needs
• use predictive analytics to identify at-risk students and implement targeted support interventions
• mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of agility, empathy, and continuous improvement.

About you

We are seeking an exceptional Manager, Online Student Experience, who possesses:

• a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• expertise in designing user-centred education services, resources and experiences, leveraging innovative technologies and frameworks
• strong project management, process improvement, data analysis and technology-enabled administration skills
• proven leadership experience, including staff supervision, mentoring and team development
• excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
• demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships and collaborative relationships
• strong problem-solving, judgement and decision-making capabilities
• highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
