JOB TYPE: Full-Time | Rotating Shift

PAY: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour + $1.25/hr Night Shift Differential

Simex Windows, a Cornerstone Building Brands company, is hosting an on-site Hiring Event on Wednesday, September 23 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 181 Pleasants Industrial Center, St. Marys, WV 26170. No appointment is necessary. Come meet our team and learn about open opportunities.

• Starting pay: $17.00/hour
• Pay increases to $18.00/hour upon successful completion of training
• Night shift differential: $1.25/hour additional
• Pay for Skill Program available - your pay grows as your skills grow
• Rotating 4/3/3/4 shift schedule: only 14 working days per 28-day cycle
• 8-day consecutive break plus 2-day breaks built into rotation
• Day Shift: 5:40 AM - 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 5:40 PM - 6:00 AM
• All training completed on day shift
• Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and procedures at all times
• Perform end-of-line quality checks including cut length, surface, and finseal inspections
• Stack and pack vinyl lineals according to rack drawings and operator paperwork
• Assist with extrusion line setups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• Maintain daily housekeeping standards
• Support other production departments as needed
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Able to convert fractions to decimals 
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions 
• Capable of using computerized equipment 
• Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time 
• Ability to move carts in and out of production areas 
• 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
