Manufacturing Expeditor

Are you someone who refuses to let critical tasks stall? Do you enjoy working with multiple teams to make things happen and hitting tangible results every day? We are looking for proactive Manufacturing Expediters to support a critical recovery programme within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

• Managing 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders.
• Tracking orders through every stage of production.
• Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Special Processes and Suppliers.
• Removing delays, bottlenecks and waiting time.
• Escalating issues and driving rapid resolution.
• Monitoring recovery plans and ensuring commitments are achieved.
• Producing daily status reports and recovery metrics.
• Supporting weekly recovery reviews.

The role is based onsite at Gloucester, and there are 2 Day Shift, 1 Bridging Shift and 1 Night Shift positions available. We are looking for people who can start within the next 4 weeks. The role will initially be for 12m and can be a fixed term contract, or an Inside IR35 role.

• Has experience using ERP systems such as SAP, ShopVue or similar.
