Marketing, E-commerce & Shopify Assistant

Our client is a growing home and furniture brand focused on creating beautiful, modern
spaces and is looking for a Marketing, E-commerce & Shopify Assistant to join their team.
This is a varied role combining digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, website
management and creative content.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and understand how to present a home
and furniture brand in a way that feels clean, modern, polished and visually consistent
across every customer touchpoint.

What You’ll Be Doing
Shopify & Website Management
● Manage and update the company’s Shopify website.
● Add and update products, descriptions, images and other website content.
● Ensure product information is accurate and presented clearly.
● Upload and organise product imagery.
● Make website content and visual presentation consistent with the brand.
● Identify opportunities to improve the website’s appearance, organisation and customer
experience.
● Carry out regular website checks to ensure content is current and displayed correctly.

Social Media
● Support the management of the brand's Instagram and Facebook accounts.
● Create and prepare visually engaging social media content using Canva.
● Schedule and publish posts and other social content.
● Adapt website and marketing content for social media.
● Help maintain a consistent visual identity across Instagram and Facebook.
● Assist with developing ideas for new content and campaigns.
● Monitor content performance and help identify what types of content resonate with the
audience.

Creative & Content
● Create marketing materials using Canva.
● Select and format imagery for newsletters, website content and social media.
● Help develop promotional and product-focused content.
● Ensure all customer-facing materials meet the brand's visual standards.
● Work within the company's existing branding while bringing creativity and fresh ideas to
the role.

Email Marketing
● Create and send the company’s weekly newsletter using Flodesk.
● Work from existing templates while adapting layouts, imagery and content for each campaign.
● Source and create engaging content that showcases products and the brand.
● Ensure newsletters are visually polished, on-brand and optimised for engagement.
● Manage the weekly email marketing schedule and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.

We're looking for someone who combines marketing ability, e-commerce experience and a
strong creative eye.
You should have:
● Previous experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, social media or a similar role.
● Experience managing or working with Shopify.
● Strong experience using Canva.
● Experience with Instagram and Facebook for business/brand purposes.
● Experience with email marketing platforms — Flodesk experience is highly desirable.
● Experience managing or updating a website.
● Excellent attention to detail.
● A strong understanding of visual branding and design aesthetics.
● The ability to work with a clean, modern and sophisticated visual style.
● Strong written English and the ability to create or adapt marketing copy.
● Good organisational skills and the ability to manage recurring weekly tasks.
● A proactive approach and the confidence to suggest improvements.
● The ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

This isn't simply an administrative marketing role.
The visual side of the position is extremely important.
The ideal candidate will naturally understand how imagery, typography, colour, spacing,
layouts and product presentation work together.
You should be able to look at a newsletter, Instagram post or Shopify product page and
recognise whether it feels polished, professional and consistent with a modern home and
furniture brand.
