KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Class Delivery
* Lead engaging and challenging Mat Pilates classes for all fitness levels
* Instruct proper alignment, breathing techniques, and movement patterns
* Modify exercises as needed to ensure safety and inclusivity
* Set up and tidy up studio spaces before and after classes
* Provide excellent customer service and build positive member relationships
* Promote class attendance and contribute to member retention
* Stay current with fitness trends and continuing education in Pilates
* Collaborate with other instructors and FIT staff to create a supportive team environment
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Certification in Mat Pilates from a recognized training program (e.g., STOTT, BASI, Polestar, Balanced Body, etc.)
* CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Previous experience teaching group Pilates classes (preferred)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Professional, reliable, and punctual
* Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others improve their well-being
Desirable:
* Experience working in a studio or boutique fitness environment
* Additional qualifications in pre/post-natal Pilates, rehab, or movement therapy
