Material Handler

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift – Approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable Material Handler to join a lumber facility in Theodore, AL. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing lumber throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical work, handling materials safely, and working in a fast-paced warehouse or lumber yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber from trucks and designated storage areas.
• Move, transport, and organize lumber throughout the facility.
• Assist with staging materials for production, storage, and shipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling and moving materials.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, material handling, or lumber yard experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
