At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses. The Material Handler I is responsible for an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, store, and organize materials in accordance with Warehouse Management standards, including placement on racks, shelves, bins, and designated warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory controls by processing stock location orders, recording materials received or distributed, supporting cycle counts/physical inventory, and ensuring required documentation is complete
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, pulling materials, packing orders, and staging completed orders for delivery
  • Follow established procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations, including HIPAA compliance, and escalate problems or quality concerns that may impact product quality or process flow
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment using 5S practices, including keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and orderly
  • Collaborate with team members to support smooth production flow, adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in medical device industry
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift or able to successfully pass forklift training within 30 days of hire

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds from floor to table
  • Ability to stand for 2-3 hour blocks
  • Comfortable working on computers, especially Microsoft Outlook. Navigating ERP and QMS systems.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

US Pay Range
$17$22.58 USD
