Materials Clerk (Second Shift)

A Materials Clerk supports production by managing the flow of materials from receiving to point of use. They organize and stock inventory, prepare material orders for manufacturing, and coordinate deliveries to work areas. They also monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

3. Learn and perform daily materials and receiving tasks to achieve customer expectations for service and delivery by reading and following area documentation and operating mobile equipment.

5. Work cooperatively within a team environment.

6. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area and equipment.

Required Qualifications

Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow instructions

Basic math, documentation, reading, writing and communication skills

Manual dexterity and ability to concentrate

Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds

Adhere to SEL's tobacco-free policy

Compliance with heightened periodic drug testing for operators of SEL vehicles
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Previous Materials/Receiving Experience

Experience in forklift truck operation

New hires generally start at $26 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
