Job Title: Mechanic - Landscape/Small Engine Equipment

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair commercial landscape equipment
• Work on mowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and other handheld equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, mowers, and small equipment. Occasionally, will fix tires on company vehicles in the field.
• Handle oil changes, filters, belts, blades, greasing, hydraulic issues, electrical issues, and other day-to-day repair needs
• Troubleshoot breakdowns quickly and get crews back up and running fast
• Stay ahead of problems through preventative maintenance and inspection
• Keep the shop and mechanic area clean, organized, and ready to work
• Track repairs, parts used, and service needs in company systems
• Communicate clearly with management on priorities, repair timelines, and equipment needs
• Help maintain accountability for tools, parts, equipment, and repair inventory

What we are looking for

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of repair experience
• Experience working on commercial mowers and landscape equipment
• Experience with small engines, hydraulic systems, belts, spindles, electrical issues, and general troubleshooting
• Ability to handle basic truck and trailer maintenance
