Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00-13:00 Friday
Salary: between £40,000 and £55,000 pa DOE
What you'll be doing
- Designing and developing components and systems for our vehicle cab range.
- Creating engineering drawings, CAD models and product documentation.
- Working with colleagues, customers and suppliers to develop practical engineering solutions.
- Supporting product testing, validation and launch activities.
- Investigating issues and driving continuous product improvements.
- Contributing to projects that deliver high-quality, reliable and innovative products.
What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:- Mechanical design experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- CAD experience, ideally Solid Edge.
- An understanding of engineering drawings, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working as part of a collaborative engineering team.
