Mechanical Engineer - Piping & Routing (SolidWorks)

Sunreef Yachts is expanding its Systems Department and is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in ** piping and routing design **.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for catamarans, with a focus on ** piping and routing**
• Create and manage 3D models in SolidWorks (Routing)
• Produce accurate 2D drawings for production and installation
• Ensure system integration across all departments (Electrical, Composite, Interior, Naval Architecture, Production)
• Optimize layouts to ensure functionality, accessibility, and efficiency onboard
• Support coordination between design and production teams

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong proficiency in **SolidWorks , including the ** Routing module
• Experience in piping design and system layout
• Ability to read and produce technical schematics and installation drawings
• Good understanding of how systems interact within a vessel or complex environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

• Previous experience in yacht or shipbuilding
• Knowledge of marine standards and classification societies
• Experience supporting installation on the production floor
