Mechanical Foreman (Saudi Arabia)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in ** maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems **.
• Strong expertise in maintenance of **mechanical equipment **, including:

*   **Static equipment** (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves) 

*   **Rotary equipment** (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers) 

• Experience using SAP PM for maintenance work orders, notifications, and history tracking is ** preferred **.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
• Lead and manage mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with **HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety procedures **.
• Coordinate with operations to plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment isolation.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs.
• Perform troubleshooting and support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
• Verify job quality, conduct inspections, and ensure equipment readiness before handover to operations.
• Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and materials; support inventory control and spare management.
• Prepare and close maintenance work orders, reports, and equipment history records.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to technicians to enhance team capability.
