Media Manager

Job Title: Associate Media Manager (Contract)

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid / Open to Remote)

Duration: 12 Weeks (October 26, 2026 – January 29, 2027) Includes scheduled time off for Fall/Winter holidays

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Media Manager for a 12-week contract to support a prominent client's daily media operations and asset management workflows within the Dalet Flex system. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the client's Content Operations staff to ensure that producer-supplied media is correctly ingested, processed, and archived. You will play a critical role in verifying complex technical specifications, troubleshooting system errors, and partnering with external vendors and stakeholders to implement technical remediations on behalf of the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Management: Oversee day-to-day operations and digital asset workflows within the client's Dalet Flex platform.
• Ingestion & Processing: Partner directly with Content Operations teams to guarantee all producer-supplied media is accurately ingested, processed, and archived through the system.
• Technical Quality Control: Evaluate and ensure correct technical dimensions, metadata, and intricate technical specifications are captured accurately across all assets.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Actively identify, address, and troubleshoot system errors or workflow blockages to keep client deliverables on schedule.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software vendors and internal client stakeholders to resolve technical glitches and implement lasting remediations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience with MAM/DAM products.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Understanding of media technical specifications and assets archiving.
• Understanding of cloud-based and on-prem technologies.
• Editing skills a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
