MEDICAL ASSISTANT

The Primary Care Center is a primary care and urgent care facility established in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. We provide comprehensive acute and chronic medical care in the same environment, with maintenance in continuity of care and physician-patient relationship.

This position encompasses all aspects of both front and back office medical assisting. It includes, but is not limited to, check-in, check-out, answering telephone calls, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting copays, deductibles, and co-insurances, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, processing requests for medical records, bringing patients back, triaging, obtaining vitals and other pertinent information from patients, calling in prescriptions, assisting providers with exams and procedures, and performing diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care within the last 5 years. Must have excellent customer service skills and work well in a fast-paced environment.
