Medical Assistant / Front Office - MA, CMA or RMA - Avon Family Health - Full Time Days

Job Summary :

Full time day position - hours 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. Candidate must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Primary responsible is front office - may float to back office as needed.

The Medical Assistant is to assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in an administrative capacity. Daily responsibilities of the position are based solely on the needs of the practice at any given time.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrates proficiency with computer skills.
2. Demonstrates telephone courtesy to patients, visitors and co-workers.
3. Demonstrates proficiency in use of all front office equipment.
4. Maintains medical records according to policy and procedures.
5. Demonstrates proficiency in check in and check out processes.
6. Collects all monies due from patients and properly prepares for deposit.
7. Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

1. Graduation from accredited high school.
2. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or accredited Nursing Program.

Work Shift :

7:00am – 5:00pm (United States of America)
