Medical Biller

Summary
The Medical Billing Specialist works in office for the first year on a number of tasks as directed by Medical Billing Supervisor.

Essential Functions

1. Post payments daily
2. Correct claims
3. Answer phones
4. Run AR reports and work claims
5. Check patient eligibility/benefits
6. Patient balances/collections
7. Manage care credit
8. Manage patient payment plans
9. Process refund checks

This role requires the employee to frequently stand, walk, push/pull, and perform some light lifting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an Full Time Position. Standard days and hours of work Monday-Friday 730a-430p. You will be required to be in the office for the first year at least.

Required Education and Experience

At least a High School Diploma and 3 years’ experience in Medical Office Billing.
