Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology - Stockton, CA

Lead a dynamic, collegial team of anesthesiologists and partner with Nursing and OB leadership in this regional referral/high-acuity program. Leading Academic hospital system with Magnet nursing designation.

Compensation:

• $13,690.48 weekly

Practice Environment:

• 2 Obstetric Operating Rooms
• 8-10 Labor & Delivery Rooms
• 3,000+ deliveries annually
• Level III NICU (30 beds)
• Primary Assignment to Obstetrics with periodic rotation to cover main OR and NORA environments
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nursing, and hospital leadership
• Participate in monthly QI, QC, and PI safety committees and obstetrical and perinatal committee meetings
• The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians and over 30 independent-practice CRNAs providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily, including acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center.

Qualifications:

• Active state license
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Obstetrical anesthesia experience required
• Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity obstetric environment
• ACLS | BLS
• DEA
