Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology - Stockton, CA | $575K

Compensation:

• $575K
• Annual stipend: $30K
• Up to $3,000 annually for CME
• 10 weeks paid time off
• $50,000 commencement bonus
• Relocation assistance/allowance up to *$10,000 for out-of-state or out-of-area candidates*receipts required

 Practice Environment:

• 2 Obstetric Operating Rooms
• 8-10 Labor & Delivery Rooms
• 3,000+ deliveries annually
• Level III NICU (30 beds)
• Primary Assignment to Obstetrics with periodic rotation to cover the main OR and NORA environments
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and hospital leadership
• Participate in monthly QI, QC, and PI safety committees and obstetrical and perinatal committee meetings

The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians and over 30 independent-practice CRNAs providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center. Qualifications:

• Active state license
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Obstetrical anesthesia experience required
• Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity obstetric environment
• ACLS | BLS
• DEA
