Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy to clients with a variety of mental health disorders in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, and other professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related mental health field.
- Current New York State licensure as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required.
- Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy, preferably in a community-based or behavioral health setting.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate cultural competence.
