What You’ll Do
As a Merchant Underwriter, you will:
Evaluate Merchant Risk: Assess merchant applications to identify potential risks, ensuring compliance with fraud prevention and regulatory standards.
Analyze and assess the credit risk on incoming business proposals and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.
Verify Key Information: Review critical documentation and details to confirm accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Conduct Due Diligence: Perform background checks and analysis to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Analyze Operations: Evaluate businesses to confirm alignment with company policies and standards.
Document Findings: Prepare comprehensive reports to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal departments to address complex cases and enhance processes.

What We’re Looking For
We believe you have:
1-3+ years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, or related roles within the payments or financial services industry.
A critical mindset with the ability to evaluate risks from multiple angles.
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Proficiency in analyzing complex structures and compliance requirements.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
