Overview

The Mission Partnerships Team translates our government partners’ highest priority use cases into actionable opportunities for venture-backed startup technology, impacting operations and analysis across the government and national security community. The team serves as a liaison between government partners and the emerging technology ecosystem collaborating closely with a diverse set of internal IQT stakeholders including investment managers, technical architects, and program managers as well as government representatives to drive national security mission impact.

Internship Experience The Mission Partnerships Intern will gain exposure to the roles and responsibilities of the Partnerships Team, IQT’s government partners, and the mechanics of achieving mission impact through our unique global investment platform. Interns will work on at least one high-impact project aligned to IQT’s corporate metrics and will receive mentorship from experienced team members.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be diverse and include activities such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Support data analysis and reporting for partner engagements
• Actively collaborate across IQT in individual and group discussions
• Assist in preparing partner briefings and materials
• Contribute to strategy execution and mission impact tracking
• Document lessons learned and best practices for Mission Partnerships team members and future interns

Qualifications

• Due to contractual reasons, U.S. Citizenship is required
• Local to the DC Area for the duration of the internship
• Familiarity with the military or USG, preferred
• Active clearance, preferred but not required
• Candidate for a bachelor's degree (rising Junior or Senior) focused on business or economics or equivalent experience
• Experience and/or interest in venture capital, emerging technologies, commercial startups, and national security
