What is a MLOps Engineer - Teknosys?

The MLOps Engineer is a core technical role responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure and pipelines that enable machine learning models to be deployed, monitored, and operated reliably at scale. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, DevOps, and software engineering, ensuring that AI/ML solutions move smoothly from development into stable, production-grade systems.

The MLOps Engineer works closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and platform teams to streamline the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retraining. The role focuses on automation, reproducibility, and operational excellence, reducing friction between experimentation and production.

Working within established standards and frameworks, the MLOps Engineer contributes to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and responsible AI development. The role requires balancing reliability and automation with the flexibility needed to support rapid iteration and evolving model requirements.

What does a MLOps Engineer - Teknosys do?

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and AI applications
• Automate the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including training, validation, deployment, and retraining workflows
• Implement model monitoring to track performance, drift, and reliability in production
• Manage model versioning, registries, reproducibility, and rollback strategies
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for ML workloads using cloud platforms and containerization
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to operationalize models and resolve deployment challenges
• Ensure ML systems meet standards for scalability, security, observability, and reliability
• Apply infrastructure-as-code and configuration management practices to ML environments
• Contribute to responsible and ethical AI practices, including data privacy, security, and governance
• Stay current with emerging MLOps tools, platforms, and best practices

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a MLOps Engineer - Teknosys?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, data engineering, or ML infrastructure
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python (and familiarity with Bash or other languages is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and ML pipeline frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow)
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and version control
• Familiarity with model monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Strong problem-solving, automation, and communication skills
