Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Motor Repair Technicians for projects located in or around Michigan City, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Assist with the disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and reassembly of AC/DC motors
- Inspect motor components for wear, damage, and electrical or mechanical issues
- Repair and replace motor components as needed
- Assist with testing and troubleshooting motor performance
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Perform both shop and occasional on-site customer work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous AC/DC motor repair experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will be considered
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available for on-site field work when needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop new skills
