Design Sheetmetal is looking for a reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in Bayswater, VIC.

This is a hands-on delivery role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, looking after products and providing great service to customers.

You’ll be out on the road completing around 10 to 20 deliveries each day across Melbourne metro and surrounding areas, while working closely with our warehouse and operations team.

What you’ll be doing

• Complete daily pre-start vehicle checks
• Complete 10 to 20 multi-drop deliveries each day
• Safely load, unload and carry sheet metal products
• Deliver products on time and in good condition
• Follow Chain of Responsibility and transport requirements
• Keep the truck clean, tidy and well maintained
• Communicate with customers and the team about deliveries
• Manage your delivery schedule and report any delays or issues
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Represent Design Sheetmetal professionally at every delivery

What we’re looking for

You’re a dependable driver who is comfortable working independently, enjoys being on the road and understands the importance of great customer service.

You’ll have:

• Current Victorian MR licence or higher
• At least 2 years’ truck driving experience
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries
• A clean driving history and strong safety record
• Good knowledge of Melbourne metro and surrounding areas
• Ability to handle manual lifting and physical work
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
