Design Sheetmetal is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Truck Driver to join our team in Bayswater, Victoria.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys being on the road, building customer relationships, and being part of a hands-on operations team.

About the Role

Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding areas. With approximately 10 to 20 deliveries per day, this role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

You will be the face of the business, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and handled with care.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily pre-start vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Conduct multi-drop deliveries across Melbourne metro and surrounding areas
• Safely handle and carry sheet metal products into customer sites
• Ensure products are delivered accurately and without damage
• Follow Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements and transport regulations
• Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding deliveries
• Manage delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards
• Provide professional and reliable customer service at every delivery

About You

You are a dependable and safety-conscious driver who takes pride in representing the business and delivering great customer service.

You'll bring:

• Current Victorian MR Driver Licence or higher
• Minimum 2 years' truck driving experience
• Clean driving history and strong safety record
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries
• Good knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan and surrounding areas
• Ability to safely handle manual lifting and physical tasks
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
