🍸 Now Hiring: Experienced Bartender — Mariposa, CA

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Bartender to join our restaurant team in Mariposa, California. Our bar is located in a dedicated bar area separate from the dining room and operates primarily during daytime and early evening hours.

This role requires the ability to confidently manage solo bar shifts, particularly during slower tourist seasons, while providing friendly and efficient service to both locals and visitors. When the restaurant is busy, the bartender may also be responsible for running food to bar guests and assisting as needed to ensure timely service.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, preparing quality cocktails, maintaining a clean and organized bar, handling cash accurately, and stepping in to support overall restaurant operations when needed.

Hours and volume vary seasonally based on tourism. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys a steady daytime bar atmosphere rather than a late-night bar scene.

💰 Pay: $16.90-$17.90/hour plus tips

🕒 Position: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible Scheduling Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
• Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Ensure guests are of legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service laws
• Monitor alcohol consumption and act responsibly in guest interactions
• Keep inventory stocked and notify manager of supply needs
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in a full-service bar or restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes, pouring techniques, and responsible alcohol service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Must be 21+ years old and have or be willing to obtain a California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and Food Handler Card
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
