MRP Controller

Job Purpose:

The MRP Controller is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support production and business requirements through effective Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory control, supply analysis, and coordination with Procurement, Production, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams. The role manages material planning activities, inventory optimization, product availability monitoring, production planning support, EDA reporting requirements, and new product launch readiness while maintaining high service levels and compliance standards. The job holder will be based in our site in Al Obour City and reporting to Material Planning & Inventory Control Section Head.

Your Responsibilities:

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Inventory Control

• Execute MRP activities to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and critical supplies required to meet production plans.
• Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, safety stock, reorder points, and coverage levels.
• Analyse inventory performance and recommend actions to optimize stock while maintaining required service levels.
• Prepare and maintain material availability reports, inventory analysis, and stock coverage reports.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of materials.

Production Planning Support

• Support production planning activities through materials readiness reviews and supply feasibility analysis.
• Ensure required materials are available to achieve production schedules.
• Prepare monthly required-material reports to support future production plans.
• Monitor production plan execution and identify material constraints that may impact manufacturing performance.
• Support toll manufacturing planning activities and material readiness for outsourced production operations.

Quality & Product Availability Coordination

• Monitor incoming raw and packaging materials under Quality inspection.
• Prepare and distribute weekly reports for materials pending release.
• Follow up daily with Quality teams to accelerate the release of critical and urgent materials.
• Coordinate urgent material release activities to prevent production delays and line stoppages.
• Ensure timely release of incoming materials to support production requirements.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare EDA reports covering inventory, material availability, production targets, production performance, stock levels, and coverage analysis.
• Prepare and issue daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc planning reports.

Compliance, Safety & Governance

• Ensure compliance with EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, and regulatory requirements.
• Support EDA reporting obligations and regulatory communications as required.
• Maintain accurate planning and inventory records.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your Qualification & experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 2-5 years in Material Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
