We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Supervisor to support multiple apartment communities and ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating at a high standard.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance day-to-day maintenance needs with larger projects. You’ll lead a small team, support property operations, and help create a positive living experience for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities
- Lead, train, and support maintenance technicians
- Perform and coordinate general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and repairs
- Manage unit turns, ensuring apartments are move-in ready and meet company standards
- Participate in and respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs
- Assist with planning and executing capital improvement projects
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and maintenance activity (Yardi experience preferred)
- Communicate effectively with property managers, residents, and vendors
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in apartment maintenance, ideally across multiple properties
- Strong working knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, etc.)
- Experience with unit turns and renovations
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems preferred
- Understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide a team
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Schedule
- Full-time role during standard business hours
- Participation in on-call rotation and availability for after-hours emergencies required
