Music Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School Music Teacher for an International Bilingual School in Xiamen. This position is available from the 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach music to primary school students using PYP curriculum framework
• Prepare lessons, design assessments, and provide written feedback
• Deliver both classroom music theory and practical performance instruction
• Direct ensembles, choirs, or instrumental groups and organize school performances and concerts
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
• Monitor student progress and set improvement targets
• Communicate with parents and caregivers
• Create safe, supportive learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license
• Minimum 2 years classroom teaching experience
• International curriculum experience (preferred)
• Home-country teaching license (preferred)
