Pay rate: ~$6792.00/m,  DOE

The Network Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and analysis of data center and enterprise network environments. This role requires collaboration with headquarters engineering teams and participation in global and regional IT projects. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, configuring, and optimizing network systems to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN network infrastructure.
• Analyze network performance and implement improvements to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Operate and support data center network infrastructure, including core and edge switches.
• Collaborate on joint IT projects with head office engineers.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and Application Delivery Controllers (ADC).
• Support and maintain network security appliances (firewalls, proxies, etc.).
• Perform network diagnostics and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document network configurations and processes.
• Ensure network systems comply with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with WAN & LAN network operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Center network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network services.
• Proficiency in managing routers, enterprise switches, and data center switches.
• Experience with Application Delivery Controllers (e.g., F5, Citrix NetScaler).
• Working knowledge of internet security systems such as firewalls and proxies.
• Ability to analyze, configure, and install network and computer systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience is required
• Bilingual: Korean and English (both written and verbal proficiency required).
