Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 Network Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in Taiwan. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, WAN technologies, and network troubleshooting in enterprise and data center environments.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and VPN solutions.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure maximum availability and reliability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents, performing root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Implement network changes, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
  • Configure VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, QoS, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, and wireless network environments.
  • Perform firewall configuration and troubleshooting using Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or Check Point.
  • Support data center networking, structured cabling, rack & stack, and hardware replacement.
  • Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve network issues.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in planned maintenance activities and provide on-call support when required.


Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, RSTP, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, QoS, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VPN, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Huawei, or similar enterprise networking platforms.
  • Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Strong understanding of firewall policies, IPS/IDS, and network security best practices.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix, or similar.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.


Experience

  • L2: 3–5 years of enterprise networking experience.
  • L3: 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise/data center network engineering.


Certifications (Preferred)

  • CCNA / CCNP Enterprise
  • Fortinet NSE
  • Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE
  • JNCIA / JNCIS
  • Aruba Certified Professional
  • ITIL Foundation (Preferred)


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.


Language Requirements

  • English – Professional working proficiency.
  • Mandarin Chinese – Preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Taiwan, if required.
