Position: Network Engineer/Network Admin

Location:Torrance,CA-90503

Duration:24+ months

Description:

- Must have 5+ year experience

- Network administration in a Global Computing Environment

- Building large scale global networks

- Research, develop, and design of technical solutions

- Design and implement network upgrades and network changes

- Network Capacity planning and traffic analysis of the production network

- Hands-on experience with Routing, Switching, VPN, firewalls & Security in primarily Cisco based environment

- Extensive familiarity with Cisco networking equipment i.e. routers, switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, 6500’s, Cisco VPN Concentrator, TCP/IP, RIPv2, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, SNMP, Cisco 3700, 3800,and 6500. STP, VRRP, HSRP.

- Design and support of WAN technologies i.e. MPLS, ISDN, VPN, Dialup, VPN gateways, net-2-net VPN tunnels, T1s, PRIs, DS3s, OC3s, Gig Fiber and Fiber LAN and WAN networks

A strong candidate will also have:

- CCNP, CCDP, CCSP are additional plus

- SolarWinds, Linux, Scripting languages (i.e. bash, Perl, python, ruby)

Additional Job requirements:

- Provide Off business hours break/fix Oncall support on as needed basis

- Travel up to 10% domestic and international
