Ensure end‑to‑end global network connectivity operations across LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and perimeter security components. Deliver stable and secure connectivity to all sites, retail, warehouses, cloud integrations, and remote users.

Key Responsibility Areas

Daily tasks

Projects

RUN (Network Operations Execution)

Operate GTT/Velocloud SD-WAN, LAN switching, Wi-Fi networks, VPN gateways

Execute change management for network components (plan, test, implement, document)

Monitor network health, hybrid connectivity status, ISP circuits, and remote access services

Handle L2/L3 incident resolution, RCA documentation, escalations to carriers and vendors

Execute compliance tasks: patching, firmware lifecycle, config hardening

Support MIM/P1 connectivity issues across regions

Execute structured Follow the Sun handovers for ongoing incidents & changes

Manage Network Administrations platforms (DHCP, Radius, WAN/LAN/Wifi Portals & Orchestrators…)

ENABLE (Platform & Tooling Alignment)

Apply global standards & golden configs from Connectivity Solutions domain

Contribute data to observability tooling (SNMP, API integration, logs)

Work with automation teams on network automation, templates, and consistency

GOVERN (Adherence to Network Governance)

Ensure compliance with network architecture standards, security hardening & lifecycle rules

Apply network governance decisions (templates, exceptions, vendor standards)

Support cost/FinOps governance for circuits & connectivity spend

Cross-Team Collaboration

Support Field Services & Support for onsite LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting when needed

Participate in new site openings, SD-WAN deployments, retail and WH projects

Align with security teams (Zscaler, perimeter services) for secure access enforcement

Certificates

Trainings

Bachelor’s in IT, Networking, or equivalent experience

Preferred: CCNP/CCIE, Zscaler certs, Velocloud certifications

Competencies required to perform the job successfully

Personality/Soft Skills

Languages

Strong experience with SD-WAN (Velocloud) and WAN technologies

Deep understanding of routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, NAC basics

Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA/ZCC) and zero-trust access patterns

Experience collaborating with ISPs/carriers

Experience in global operations or distributed teams is valued

Experience operating in global / follow‑the‑sun / 24×7 environments preferred and ability to produce clear, reusable technical documentation and ensure knowledge continuity amongst teams

Fluent in English (CECRL B2+ equivalent) and at ease working in a multicultural environment.
