Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraines, neuropathy, and dementia.
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, MRI, and CT scans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals for physical or occupational therapy.
  • Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, disease progression, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with other specialists within the multi-specialty practice (e.g., primary care, cardiology, endocrinology) to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic medical records.
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology research, treatments, and technologies to enhance patient care delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications:,

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited residency program in Neurology.
  • Licensure: Must have an active New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in(Electronic Medical Record) / EHR (Electronic Health Record eClinicalWorks & Practice Fusion.Proficient in performing neurological examinations, interpreting diagnostic studies (EEG, EMG, MRI, CT), and managing treatment plans for various neurological conditions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
