About this role
Mid-size law firm with 26 offices nationwide is looking for a motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented and well-organized to help on our New Matters team with the process of opening new files and running conflict searches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Setting up new files in the billing system for all offices nationwide
· Review new intake forms for accuracy and completion
· Following up on missing or inaccurate forms
· Reviewing engagement letters
· Preparing and distributing correspondence related to the new matter. Update existing file set up information as needed
· Working with other staff members, such as paralegals and attorneys, to ensure a smooth transition into the new case.
· Back up coverage for processing requests for conflicts searches
· Assist with projects as needed and other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Proficiency in Microsoft office
· Strong attention to detail and proofreading necessary
· Excellent time management and judgement skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
· Ability to handle a large volume of work while ensuring a high level of accuracy
· Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
· Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Previous work history in a law firm setting is beneficial, but not required.
· Must be committed to providing superior customer service to attorneys while producing a high-quality work product
· Maintaining confidentiality of client information is paramount.
· Experience running conflict checks is a plus
· Experience with Juris or Aderant is a plus

Salary: $48,000 - $60,000
