Overview

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an advanced practice nurse who functions in the role of expert clinician, educator, consultant and researcher. The CNS serves as a role model, patient advocate, change agent, and leader to enhance patient care. The CNS position practices within the scope of the California Nursing Practices Act and in accordance with AHMC-Anaheim Regional Medical Center policies. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing with expertise in clinical nursing specialty. Requires a minimum of three years related experience. Prefer 5 years of increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job. Current CA Registered Nurse license Current BLS-HCP, ACLS, NRP & Certification
