NJ Live-In HHA

Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for Live-In Caregivers / Home Health Aides to care for our clients. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-In Caregiver is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period.

We have current job openings for Live-In Caregivers in the following locations:

• ALL OF NORTHERN & SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY

BAYADA offers Live-Ins / HHAs:

• Base Pay: $1,360 - $1,450 WEEKLY (pay rate depends on level of care involved)
• Bonus Opportunities – for covering emergency fill-ins, referring other HHAs to BAYADA, and more.
• Transportation provided for live-ins
• Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
• Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for Live-In / HHA:

• Minimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
• Have completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License
  • NOT CERTIFIED? Unlicensed applicants and NJ CNAs: Ask us how we can help you become a Certified Home Health Aide in NJ!
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

• Must be able to attend orientation in-person at a BAYADA office and pass a skills evaluation with our Clinical Manager.

Job Responsibilities for Live-In / HHA:

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
• Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
