Job Title: NOC Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated NOC Analyst to join our Network Operations Center team. This role focuses on proactively monitoring, analyzing, and running routine health checks. The ideal candidate will identify potential issues before they impact business operations, perform trend analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to drive preventive actions.

Roles & responsibility:

• Basic Troubleshoot network, servers, Desktop, Laptops, and infrastructure health using monitoring tools.

• Resolve backup issues and perform restore testing

• Identify potential issues, performance degradation, and capacity risks before they impact services.
• Analyze alerts, trends, and recurring incidents to recommend preventive actions.
• Escalate critical incidents and support major outage management activities.
• Monitor service availability and ensure adherence to operational SLAs.
• Generate health, performance, and capacity reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Security, and Service Desk teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and performance.

• Install software, patches and updates on desktops, laptops and servers
• Works with senior resources to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, computer systems and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, Infrastructure Operations, Managed Services, or IT Operations environment.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
• Experience monitoring Windows and Linux server environments.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as: SolarWinds/PRTG/Logic Monitor
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise, or Jira.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment
