Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Incident Management

Monitor network infrastructure, systems, and applications using various monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix)

Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary

Respond to alerts and incidents in accordance with established SLAs and priority levels.

Perform root cause analysis on recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.

Document all incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Network Operations

Maintain network availability and performance across enterprise infrastructure

Perform regular health checks on network devices including routers, switches, firewalls,wireless controllers and load balancers

Monitor bandwidth utilization and capacity planning metrics

Execute network changes during scheduled maintenance windows

Maintain up-to-date network documentation and diagrams
System Administration

Monitor server performance, disk space, and application availability

Perform basic system administration tasks on Windows and Linux servers

Monitor backup systems and ensure successful completion of scheduled backups

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution
Communication & Reporting

Provide timely status updates to stakeholders during incidents

Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports

Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure continuity of operations

Maintain clear and professional communication with technical and non-technical personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1+ years network operations or NOC experience
- Incident management and escalation handling
- Experience coordinating with field technicians and dispatch operations
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and systems
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer service orientation
- Preferred:CCNA, CCNP, Ruckus Certified, Aruba Certified, Meraki Certified or other networking-related certifications (CompTIA Network+, CWNA, Fortinet NSE)
- Willing to work onsite
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
