Full-Time Nurse – Family Practice

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateFull-Time Nurseto support our Providers at the Craig County Health Center in New Castle, Virginia. This position works closely with our Family Practice Providers and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time 40 hours, Monday–Thursday 7:30am to 6pm schedule (closed on Friday)
• No weekends
• Family Practice setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to Family Practice Providers and clinical teams.
• Assist with patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and other nursing services within scope of practice.
• Support Providers with examinations, procedures, and care coordination.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, Providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow established clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Promote quality, safety, and continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestrictedRegistered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical (LPN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous Family Practice, primary care, or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficient with EMR systems
