Nursery Chef

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Cook for a thriving nursery based in Letchworth Garden City . This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting group where we focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly, characterful and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents and staff.

Job Purpose:

To ensure the preparation of a balanced, healthy nutritious and tasty diet for children, following the specifications recipes. Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of Nursery and in compliance with the Environmental Health-Food Safety, Cook Safe and Health and Safety guidelines to contribute to ensuring highest possible inspection grading.

Qualifications and experience required:

A minimum qualification of Level 2 in Food Safety

A good knowledge of Cooksafe.

Past experience within the early years sector is preferable however not essential.
