OB Removal Team Leader

• Supervise and lead daily overburden (OB) removal operations to meet production and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with K3LH (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards through regular safety talks and inspections.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and efficient mine operations.
• Monitor and report daily production data (volume, operating hours, and performance obstacles) to management.
• Oversee equipment allocation and work cycles (hauler and excavator) to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure operations meet safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards in accordance with the Mine Plan.
• Support and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or ** Geology Engineering **(Minimum GPA 3.00 for Bachelor’s, 3.25 for Master’s).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Mine Operation Supervisor or in a similar open-pit mining role.
• Hold a valid **SIM A **(mandatory).
• Certified in **Basic KPLH , Safety Driving ; POP Certification ** is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel),** Minescape , and ArcGIS **.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly adaptable, safety-oriented, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
• Fast learner with strong initiative and ownership mindset.
• Able to manage multiple priorities under dynamic conditions.
