Key Responsibilities
- Engineer, configure, and optimize Splunk components (indexers, search heads, forwarders, deployment servers, etc.) to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across all environments
- Partner with application, security, and operations teams to design and implement searches, dashboards, reports, and alerts that provide actionable insights and support incident response.
- Design and implement data onboarding for new sources, including inputs, parsing, field extractions, data models, and normalization to ensure data quality and consistency
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to confirm data is being collected, parsed correctly, and providing value, while tracking and optimizing data volume to manage Splunk license consumption
- Monitor and maintain the health of the observability infrastructure, implementing automation where possible for deployment, configuration management, and routine maintenance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
