Position Summary:
The Occupational Therapist supports patients in achieving independence in all aspects of daily life by developing and implementing therapeutic interventions that focus on functional abilities, cognitive function, and adaptive techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and daily living challenges.
  • Create individualized treatment plans to help patients regain or improve functional skills.
  • Guide patients in using assistive devices and adaptive strategies to perform daily activities.
  • Educate patients and family members on techniques for self-care, mobility, and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate therapy into overall patient care plans.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in medical records.
  • Recommend home modifications or workplace accommodations when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Experience in clinical, hospital, or rehabilitation settings.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong problem-solving skills.
