What You'll Do as an Occupational Therapist
As part of our caring OT team, you will:
- Evaluate and treat diverse pediatric needs, including developmental delays, neurological conditions, sensory processing challenges, and more.
- Develop individualized Plans of Care to help your clients thrive in daily activities like play, education, self-care, and social participation.
- Collaborate with families for skill carryover and resources.
- Stay current with professional development and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ethical practices.
Who You Are as an Occupational Therapist
You're a compassionate and skilled OT with:
- A valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy and adherence to the Texas Practice Act & Rules and AOTA Code of Ethics.
- Experience (or passion to gain experience!) working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
- A knack for promoting independence with gross/fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
- Skilled in promoting independence across gross/fine motor, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices.
