A well-established private practice in Perth is looking for experienced hand therapy Occupational Therapists to join their team. The practice focuses entirely on the hand, wrist, elbow and upper limb, and has been operating for more than two decades. Therapists work closely with surgeons and GPs as part of a large multidisciplinary team.

The Role

  • Assess and treat people recovering from trauma, surgery and repetitive strain injuries of the hand and upper limb
  • Design and make custom thermoplastic splints and orthoses
  • Manage fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, oedema, wounds and scarring
  • Prescribe exercise programs and use manual therapy, nerve gliding and neuromuscular retraining
  • Work with referring surgeons, GPs and other clinicians
  • Build treatment plans around each patient's goals, including return to work, sport and daily activities

What We're Looking For

  • Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
  • Specialist hand therapy experience
  • Confident with splinting and post-operative hand rehabilitation
  • Evidence-based approach and comfortable working alongside surgeons
  • Seeking a permanent full-time role (some flexibility may be considered)
  • Experienced therapists are encouraged to apply for senior positions
